Overview
Hudson is exclusively partnering with a large-scale diversified conglomerate with a strong international footprint and its global headquarters based in Singapore. With multi-billion-dollar operations spanning Asia, Latin America, and Europe, the group operates across several complex, international sectors with a focus on industrial-scale operations, sustainable growth, and value chain integration.
As the business continues its aggressive growth journey and operational expansion, we are seeking a Group Director, Business Controlling & FP&A to join the leadership team of one of its major business units. This role offers high visibility and strategic influence, with a strong focus on partnering closely with business leadership and driving performance across complex, global operations.
The Role

• Act as the Finance Lead for a major business group, partnering directly with the Business Unit MD while maintaining a dotted reporting line to Group Corporate Finance.
• Lead a regional finance team (7-8 direct reports), overseeing core functions including FP&A, business controlling, performance management, and commercial finance advisory.
• Ensure robust financial oversight across a fully integrated value chain -- from sourcing and production to distribution and customer engagement.
• Provide decision support on pricing, cost optimization, and revenue growth strategies in commodity-sensitive markets.
• Develop financial strategies and planning models aligned with the group's long-term growth ambitions.
• Support strategic initiatives including transformation, digitization, and B2B-to-B2C expansion.
• Deliver strong financial governance while maintaining commercial agility and operational speed.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 15 years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business controlling, ideally within large conglomerates or complex, industrial multinationals.
• Proven experience managing finance across global operations with full value chain exposure.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to advise on cost/revenue levers in commodity-driven environments.
• Track record in leading and developing finance teams across markets.
• Holds a degree in Accounting/Finance; professional certifications (CPA, CA or equivalent) preferred.
• Hands-on, grounded, and business-oriented with the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking.
