Review/Preparation of half-yearly and yearly SGX result announcements Review/Preparation of consolidated annual financial statements and annual report Perform hands-on monthly Group and sub-group consolidations, and financial reporting in accordance with internal/external requirements Review and ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly closing in the group Maintain and implement effective controls over the financial consolidation system and regulatory reporting Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports, in compliance with IFRS/SFRS, statutory, tax and audit requirements as well as SGX listing rules requirements Review/Preparation of consolidated annual Group forecast and budget Liaise with business units and external/internal auditors on audit and accounting issues Responsible for reviewing and updating of group accounting policies Keep abreast of new technical accounting, reporting and regulatory matters and updating/training finance personnel in business units on new requirements arising therefrom Responsible for training the finance users in the financial consolidation system Undertake projects on an ad-hoc basis such as system implementation project Assist with annual insurance renewal and insurance claim matters for the Group Support management reporting requirements and ad-hoc projects as required Support the Head of Finance in any administrative and strategic tasks Job Requirement Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification 8-10 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial position with experience in group financial reporting, preferably with 4-5 years' experience in Big 4 audit firms or SGX-listed companies (minimum mid-cap d) Prior working experience in real estate will have added advantage. Hands on consolidation experience is preferred Well versed in IFRS/SFRS and consolidation Good analytical and problem-solving skills Committed, proactive and hands-on team player and with an eye for details Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage different stakeholders Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently Able to multitask to meet tight deadlines Possess strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with Cognos controller software is preferred All Successful candidates can expect a very competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive range of benefits.
