Job Description

Provides administrative and operational support across areas of manufacturing for smooth and continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule work order sequencing in keeping with the established production schedule to ensure plan is met, including maintains team performance metrics
  • May perform Pre-PRB, make decisions on product compliance to specifications in product audit reviews.
  • Assigned JDE Super-use, performing JDE transactions that include ordering materials from warehouse, back flush (close operations), terminate components to floor stock, generate work orders, and perform cycle counts.
  • Escalate production and staff issues to supervisor as deemed warranted to ensure appropriate attention and action.
  • Ensure production staff are appropriately trained and certified for assigned work, and conduct SOP/procedural training
  • Daily verification to ensure that documents used on the production floor are up to date
  • May review employee\xe2\x80\x99s administrative matters eg. time cards / attendance records to ensure completeness
  • Other incidental duties: Prints and distributes production documentation. Participate in Product/Process failure analysis and improvement projects. Develop techniques, conduct training, and facilitate discussion on technical alignment
Education and Experience:
Secondary Education 6 Years years experience directly related experience, including leading assembly/support process work teams Required

Additional Skills:
  • Advanced level of understanding of manufacturing procedures
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, preferably JDE
  • Practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered
  • Knowledgeable in all operational processes for multiple models and other production areas (model/operation)
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor; ability to guide other workers/colleagues in understanding operations and quality standards
  • Ability to provide performance feedback, confirm understanding, and have a positive impact on output of other workers/colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong English language skills, including reading, comprehending, speaking and writing
  • Must be able to work in an inter-departmental team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions
  • Successful completion of ongoing job training of manufacturing process steps
  • Strict attention to detail in regards to work orders, scheduling, and documentation
