With a growing member base and a commitment to quality training and experience, we're looking for a

Gym Manager

to lead our operations and ensure every member interaction reflects the discipline, energy, and excellence that define Pineapple MMA.

Responsibilities include:

Strategy:

Work closely with the management team to design, implement, and refine operational strategies that align with Pineapple MMA's growth goals. Review and analyse key performance indicators such as class occupancy, membership trends, and client feedback to drive improvements in efficiency and member satisfaction. Stay attuned to fitness and wellness market trends to ensure Pineapple MMA remains competitive and relevant in Singapore's fitness landscape.

People Development:

Lead, train, and inspire the front desk and operations team to uphold Pineapple MMA's service and operational standards. Conduct regular performance reviews and develop clear SOPs to build accountability and consistency. Partner with management to address staff matters professionally and promptly -- from attendance and scheduling to performance or client-related issues. Foster a motivated and reliable team culture grounded in discipline, teamwork, and pride in the brand.

Service:

Lead by example to deliver an exceptional member experience -- every class check-in, purchase, or question handled with professionalism and energy. Maintain a consistent service tone that reflects Pineapple MMA's personality: confident, friendly, and real. Engage members by building familiarity and trust, ensuring every client feels part of the Pineapple community. Support in-studio activations, events, and initiatives to strengthen member engagement and retention.

Operations:

Oversee all aspects of daily gym operations -- from class check-ins, private session bookings, and membership administration to facility cleanliness and readiness. Ensure all client transactions (purchases, membership setup, freezes, renewals, cancellations) are processed accurately. Supervise inventory, supplies, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance. Manage team schedules, ensuring full shift coverage and punctuality across all hours of operation. Monitor and maintain operational compliance with Pineapple's SOPs and policies. Generate regular reports on performance metrics, member trends, and operational efficiency to support management decisions.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in gym, hospitality, F&B, retail, or fitness management. Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage teams and systems. Proficiency with

Mindbody

or similar membership management platforms is preferred, but not a must. Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, thrives in structured, fast-moving environments. Excellent communication and people skills; confident handling client concerns with empathy and clarity. Working a variety of shifts, including weekends/public holidays. Passionate about fitness, martial arts, or community-driven wellness.
