Roles & Responsibilities About The Role Reporting to the Group Supervisor, the Gymtonic is to connect with the seniors, the community and partners to empower seniors to age well in their community

• Plan and conduct outreach to raise awareness about Gymtonic programmes and services and to enrol new seniors as Gymtonic members
• Administer basic assessment on the mobility levels of the seniors before and after their participation in the exercise regime to help them improve in their physical strength and functions
• Develop exercise plan according to Gymtonic protocol
• Conduct warm-up and warm-down for each exercise sessions
• Assist and guide seniors to use the gym equipment
• Collaborate with grassroots, community partners and service providers to build upcommunity network and to provide holistic carefor seniors
• Recruit volunteers to assist in gym activities

Others

• Administrative duties which include collecting and submitting data for reporting and evaluation purposes
• Support in volunteer management processeseg. keep track of volunteering activities and hours
• Other work projects assigned by supervisor or management

Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies:

• Minimum GCE O levels, up to Diploma graduates
• IT literate

Core Competencies:

• Good communication and social skills to work with different people
• Pleasant personality

Team player, yet independent to carry out most functions

• Strong interest in empowering and preserving the dignity of seniors

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Able to speak dialects will be an advantage
