In this context, the hELIOS Business Competency Centre (hBCC) is hiring a Manager in APAC. His/her responsibilities are to support APAC on all hBCC activities, to coordinate with other hBCC team members based in other regions (e.g. Paris, London, Sydney), and to play a key role in the definition and implementation of the data/reporting ecosystem.Responsibilities:Key duties and responsibilitiesThe APAC hBCC Manager has a pro-active relationship with hBCC internal clients (business users) and holds responsibilities for the following activities:
Definition and implementation of the data & reporting ecosystem
Define the data & reporting business vision and roadmap.
Manage the backlog prioritization, according to the business value and in coordination with the hELIOS product owner / solution owner, and key business representatives.
Translate the product vision and business requirements in User Stories, define the acceptance criteria of US and developments, with the support of business analysts.
Contribute to change management activities with other hBCC team members and facilitate the user community.
Roll-out of the hELIOS platform
During the roll-out of hELIOS.
Support the definition of the Target Operating Model for deployment of the hELIOS solution.
Work with other project team members to gather and analyze detailed information about the process design and the impact on the roles and the organizations affected.
Monitor, coordinate and ensure progress - e.g. participate in the definition of the local roll-out plan, run weekly meetings, liaise with key members of the local business teams, etc.
Identify training requirements, support creation of training materials and run trainings when needed.
Support Treaty Onboarding
hELIOS requires reinsurance plans to be set up for SCOR Life business. This requires analysis of the reinsurance treaties, product literature and existing systems to obtain the data and formula required to populate reference tables and mappings. He/She works closely with actuarial staff and client administrators. The stakeholders will be based in offices in different locations in Asia. Key tasks:
Support the creation of reinsurance plans and mappings and provide advice and review.
Acquire an in-depth knowledge of hELIOS reference data and functionality in a short space of time and have an in-depth knowledge of life insurance and reinsurance products.
Support the data engineers in their understanding of the policy data to facilitate coding of the routines to transform the data from cedent format to a standard format.
Support the business testing in the system prior to going live.
Business Support
Acquire skills required to become a hELIOS Super User for all hELIOS components,
Provide expert support on all system functionalities,
Triage and analyse processing issues in hELIOS encountered by the business,
Take part in the documentation of issues, specification of new functionalities and support tests of new hELIOS releases.
Document processes and create/amend training material.
Qualifications:Experience:
6+ years\' experience in Life Reinsurance / Insurance.
Work experience in operation or back-office department.
Knowledge and understanding of life insurance products.
