Job Description


  • Providing and facilitating the service standards in line with company procedures, which includes but not limited to:
    • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance. Hair kept neat, nails trimmed and uniform pressed.
    • Assist Senior Staff in managing the operations of the venue ensuring daily smooth operations
    • Ensure opening procedures are completed before the restaurant is open for guests.
    • Provides smooth and efficient service at the Bar/Restaurant ensuring that standards are met at all times.
    • Be attentive to the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs and check in when appropriate.
    • Presents menu/drinks list, answers inquiries, and provides recommendations to guests after assessing their needs and preferences.
    • Strives to provide excellent quality service to all guests.
    • Ensure safe distancing measures and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
    • Be able to explain offers, specials and seasonal items to customers.
    • Create training materials for bartenders and FOH to increase knowledge of the venue.
  • Maintain and upkeep the bar and equipment, which includes but not limited to:
    • Ensures a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of food and beverage items, equipment, and other facilities.
    • Well\xe2\x80\x93versed with the bar layout and where stocks are kept.
    • Maintains par stocks of beverages and guest supplies.
    • Work with Senior and Junior Bartenders to ensure that prep is done according to the requirement and operation needs.
    • Ensures all bar operations are up to standard.
    • Ensure that Bar stocks inventory maintains an accurate inventory record.
    • Able to lead and guide Senior and Junior Bartenders to uphold high bar operations standards.
    • You are proactive in implementing the SOP with full understanding
    • You curate a back-bar able to deliver the ambitions of the cocktail menu (BAR)
    • Manage and monitor operational budget/targets.
    • Constantly improve all aspects of the experience \xe2\x80\x93 cleanliness, ambience, etc.
    • Manage marketing and PR activities.
    • Plan and execute a well thought-off menu of classics and originals.
    • Conduct quality control on taste, speed, presentation and cost.
    • Make sure towels are washed and dried properly before using.
    • Floor is sweeped and mopped every night.
    • Bar stocks ordering and supplier relations.
  • Have an interest in upgrading yourself as an bartender:
    • Have exceptional knowledge of classic cocktails.
    • Well versed in basic spirit knowledge.
    • Keen to learn more through books and masterclasses.
    • Able to concoct and provide input in menu development.
  • Be able to rotate and assist the floor operations when needed.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned
