With the Group Exec Chef, do menu creation and changes as needed, training of staff and ensuring product quality is maintained. . Lead the kitchen team and assist in hiring and training of new employees. . Doing the weekly schedules . Communicate with the Front of House and related points affecting items, staffing or stock. . Requirements : Advanced secondary education or certificate College or culinary training or extensive cooking and production experience Reasonable English language skills Basic of kitchen operational skills Knowledge of basic training techniques Awareness of local health and sanitation laws Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment, including stoves, wok, refrigeration, slicer & knives, and dishwashing machine Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs. Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment Sound interpersonal skills required
