Job Description


The position requires a highly motivated individual to manage the consumer marketing team , aim to develop and implement campaigns to grow SPH Media subscriptions.

  • Your main responsibilities involve forming effective above and below the line advertising communications and execution that will drive targets and results set.
  • Briefing and managing internal team and external agencies to develop creative communications campaigns that achieve subscription marketing objectives throughout the region (brochures, eDM, print ads, videos, digital marketing etc)
  • Work with departmental heads, managers, and other stakeholders to develop team goals and delegate tasks to the appropriate team member
  • Ideate and build project roadmaps with timely execution to mitigate risk with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and leverage data and insights to influence change at the product, process or customer experience level.
  • Proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve sensitive escalations.
  • You need to manage and upkeep Advertising and Promotions budget, and prepare post campaign analysis.
  • Working closely with the head of division, you are also required to develop new key target segments to grow subscriptions for SPH publications.
  • It will involve identifying and sizing up new segment bases and developing tailored marketing programs to reach out to these target segments.
  • You are required to identify appropriate business partnership opportunities for sponsorship tie-up to drive product sampling to target segments.
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or related field
  • Preferably in B2C Marketing with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • A team lead with a proven track record of conducting marketing promotions and campaigns
  • Strong written and communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Effective planning and organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead, be mindful of deadlines and manage a variety of projects at the same time. A good eye for detail required
  • Comfortable using data to inform marketing
  • Confident, resourceful and works well under pressure
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and stay focused on achieving the targets
