Get to know our Team: Grab’s Security team supports the organization across multiple geographies and business units. We plan, execute and enforce policies and standards to ensure the security of our people, facilities and other key physical and intellectual assets. We also help influence the overall strategic direction of the company by supporting senior management with security insights and If being constantly on the move and problem solving excites you, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will work on multi-dimensional projects, with our regional teams, and external partners to develop framework plans and tackle real-time issues at pace.

Get to know the Role:

  • The Corporate Crisis and Resilience manager will lead Grab’s Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Emergency Response, and related Security Training.
  • Under the direction of the Head of Corporate Real Estate and Security , he/she will develop, maintain and train others in corporate plans relating to business resilience including, but not limited to, Crisis Management, BCM, and Incident Response.
  • Proactively identify potential security risks to our business and create/improve/localize and develop mitigation measures to proactively manage them.
  • Exercise country teams and business units to confirm their understanding of procedures and practise their crisis management preparedness.
  • Provide quality assurance to the corporate security function to ensure alignment with industry best-practice standards.
  • Analyse business responses to major events and prepare after action reviews and write summary reports for future learning and process enhancement. .

The day-to-day activities
:
  • Develop internal policies and processes for Corporate Security, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Planning.
  • Apprise senior management of situations that have an impact on Grab operations which may lead to activation of Crisis Management and/or Business Continuity Plans.
  • Proactively identify, prevent, mitigate, and (if required), respond and manage potential and actual security threats directed towards staff, company assets or operations.
  • Develop and implement Crisis Management and Business Continuity training and testing programmes across the region.
  • Collect and manage information or process data to identify meaningful trends for risk identification and mitigation.
  • Driving and managing various projects regionally. Ensuring projects are scoped and completed within the estimated budget and adjusts plans to meet demands without jeopardizing the outcome or timeline.
  • Identify key stakeholders relating to crisis events, manage communications and integration of their involvement as required.
  • Support and mentor internal country teams in dealing with Crisis Management and Business Continuity.

The must haves
::
  • 10+ years of professional experience (At least 6 in a corporate security environment)

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • ASIS PSP or demonstrable, equivalent experience
  • Should aspire to gain ASIS CPP, appropriate Masters, advanced professional diploma in Security Risk Management if not already held
  • Ability to analyse incidents which may be complex and highly sensitive covering all areas of the business.
  • Good problem solving/decision making, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong judgment and moral compass.
  • Executive presence to be able to influence leaders across the organization.
  • An ability to work cross-functionally, independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of security management practices and principles.
  • Knowledgeable about local security context and trends within the region.
  • An analytical mindset with ability to present and execute on actionable findings.
  • Critically understand quantitative and qualitative patterns that are associated with geopolitical trends.
  • An ability to develop a variety of policies and procedures with minimal guidance.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • 3+ years of Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management experience.
  • Evidence of implementing new systems, training, growing and mentoring an inexperienced team.
  • Experience with a company with a mature security system MNC, Bank, Financial Services or Energy Sector would be advantageous.
  • Start-up experience is an advantage
  • Stay current on industry and governmental regulations, and develop strong relationships with law enforcement, government or private sector counterparts.
  • Existing network of private and public sector contacts.
