The role holder is accountable to lead the operationalisation and implementation of TTO-wide data and privacy policies, standards, and procedures and to drive agenda for Data Conduct, while maintaining risk, assurance and governance oversight. The role holder will be responsible for managing the Data Management governance forums in TTO.
As the Head, Data Management Risk, Technology, the role holder is responsible for maintaining the governance and assurance of processes and frameworks for robust compliance and controls in Privacy and Secrecy, Records Management, Data Quality and Data Sovereignty. The role holder will take a lead role in deploying and operationalizing tools and processes specifically designed to comply with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s data management requirements (including risk reduction) through the strengthening of controls. Furthermore, it includes providing a service to Technology teams to guide and assist them in their usage of the data & privacy management toolset. Also channelling feedback to Group CDO & relevant Process / Product owners, to enable continuous improvement and drive better client experience.
Business
Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with Technology Services, CMT(s), Risk & Compliance and Group Internal Audit to ensure alignment across stakeholder groups.
Ensure appropriate representation across the stakeholder groups in governance and delivery forums.
Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal risk assurance teams, and appropriate forums/committees.
Escalate appropriately to ensure the Global Head, Business Risk Management, TTO is updated and able to intervene as required.

Governance
Drive the effective management of data conduct risk (Privacy & Secrecy, Records Management, Data Quality and Data Sovereignty across the Technology country and regional teams, and in compliance with applicable internal policies and external laws & regulations across our markets, leading to timely assessment of residual risks at Country level.
Group Process Owner for the Data Management process within the TTO Process Universe ensuring that all necessary steps are undertaken to in remaining in compliance with the ORF requirements and responsibilities including reviewing and approving the quarterly RRA.
As the subject matter expert to provide advisory on Data Management directives, standards and data management tools, e.g. Privacy Impact Assessments, Consent Management, Records Retention & Destruction, Data Quality, Metadata Management and Master Data Management.
Responsible to manage regulatory audits / inspections in respect to Data Management. Support the TTO Management Team to represent the Bank as appropriate to regulators.
Evaluate processes within TTO to ensure controls and governance are in place for any initiatives introduced in the Journeys ensuring compliance to Data Management requirements.
Coordinate various data remediation plans and provide governance oversight to ensure that TTO is fully compliant with relevant Data Standards.
Provide input to the design of global processes and controls ensuring local requirements are considered, while adhering to Group standards for Data Management.
Perform investigation on data incidents and propose remedial actions to mitigate the risk of non-compliance.
Ensure risk acceptances are in place where required and treatment plans (both country and group level) are tracked to meet target residual risk state for Data Management.
Responsible to ensure Group driven regulatory requirements are fulfilled for TTO.
Single point of contact to answer and update all queries and submissions relating to TTO Data Management.
Design and implement Data Conduct programs and initiatives to ensure Data Privacy, Data Quality, Data standardisation and consistency across TTO.
Ensure TTO Data Management Book of Work is well managed and governed within the allocated budget.
Responsible for risk remediation programmes as directed by the Global Head of Business Risk Management.
Represent TTO in risk and governance forums as directed by the Global Head of Business Risk Management.
Responsible for the management and maintenance of Privacy and Secrecy risks across the TTO PU.
For TTO, ensure and determine structural requirements by analysing client operations, applications, and required programming efforts, and feed the same into CDO book of work.
Drive continuous evolution and improving of controls and services covering data management lifecycle and Privacy.
Responsible for the implementation of the requirements within the Group Privacy and Secrecy and data Sovereignty standards and as required by local regulations across TTO.
Business Continuity Management
Accountable to ensure BCM framework adequately supports the data management & privacy strategy. Where necessary provide executive sponsorship for major BCM initiatives
