Group Care Plan Operations
As Head, Group Service Operations (GSO) you will support and work in partnership with NUHS and institution leadership to deliver the One Specialty Multiple Sites care model, improve end to end asset visibility and utilisation across NUHS and develop a framework for projecting future key resource needs across the western region. In addition, you will oversee the smooth implementation of Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR) operations modules within NUHS, and support the institutions with impact assessment, change management and system optimisation.

Job Responsibilities
NUHS Key Resource Dashboard

  • Deliver and maintain NUHS key resources dashboard (live view, past trends and predicted trending) to enable Senior Management to have an oversight of key resources at a cluster level for optimising resource utilisation and facilitating data driven decision-making.
  • Identify NUHS, and institutions, needs for a harmonised end to end view of assets, patient pathways and identify opportunities for further operational enhancement, harmonisation and optimisation.

Projecting Future Key Resource Needs across NUHS
  • Lead Group Clinical Capacity Planning working level discussions to develop and implement framework for projecting future key resource needs across NUHS while keeping abreast of development plans within NUHS and the impact on NUHS capacity and utilisation.
  • Engage MOH, institution and key stakeholders to share the findings and obtain input on the assumptions used and propose cluster level mitigation plans.
  • Update Senior Management on the findings and highlight areas for Senior Management’s support on implementation plans.

NGEMR NUHS Function Group (FG) 7 Lead
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of the NGEMR operations modules and ensure smooth integration with supporting systems.
  • Chair the necessary NGEMR design, development and implementation committees, including both NUHS and NHG colleagues, to ensure the successful timely implementation, enhancement and optimisation of NGEMR operations modules across NUHS institutions.
  • Co-chair the NGEMR FG7 National Healthcare Group (NHG) and NUHS weekly meeting platform to deliberate on issues surfaced for approvals or resolutions.


Job Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Project management experience such as PMP / CIPM is an advantage.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in leading or implementing projects involving dashboard/ operations/ technology. Prior healthcare experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills to manage all project related-communications, receptive to positive and negative feedback, willing and prompt in making changes as required.
  • Possess leadership skills to bring internal and external stakeholders together towards a common goal.
  • Attention to details and ensuring all initiatives/projects are being delivered on schedule and budget.
  • Possess a strong business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis and creative problem solving ability to tap on existing expertise to bridge knowledge/technical gaps.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work well with clients, key stakeholders in this customer-centric role to jointly resolve ground issues with Senior Management
