We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Account Services. Principal Responsibilities
- The market Head of Account Services Operations is responsible to lead Account Servicing including ICO teams, Banking Ops and KYC Operations teams within DBS Ops servicing the market to deliver agreed business objectives, focusing on service performance, risk management and change activity
- Stakeholder relationship with WPB line of business representing whole of DBS Operations i.e. including Risk and Payments
- This role will report to the Head of WPB Operations with leading a team of FTEs. Also responsible for initiatives to reduce the overall portfolio cost base through working with Transformation, Stakeholders across the market
- The role holder is required to engage and manage a wide spectrum of senior stakeholders and partners across WPB, Operations Transformation (OT), Global Ops and the wider bank (Tech, Risk, CRE etc.)
- The role holder will drive the Operations implementation of the Account Services business strategy in market
- The role holder is accountable for the implementation of transformation initiatives across Ops as appropriate, to ensure efficiencies gained through increased STP and automation can offset the business growth strategic investments and improve the cost to income ratio. Additionally, responsible for the management of both regulatory and non-regulatory WPB remediation activity within Operations with specific focus on \xe2\x80\x9cWar on Manual Controls\xe2\x80\x9d
- The role will include management and delivery of AOP targets, BAU Operations and Risk Management across Account Services in market
Requirements
- Market specific qualifications
- Prior experience of courageous leadership in a dynamic and challenging economic and regulatory environment across operational teams spanning multiple locations.
- Experience working in the Operations division of a large-scale financial services company
- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
- Ability to analyse complex issues, identify and assess the implications for the market and its customers
- Excellent planning, organizing and commercial skills including strong financial management capability
- Advanced data and financial experience with very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail
- Strong leader / positive role model
- The ability to communicate complex issues concisely, being seen as a subject matter expert by business stakeholders
- Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
- Well-developed project management skills
- Confidence to work with senior leaders across the organization, including front and middle office
