What We Offer

Nasdaq SMARTS Market Surveillance is the industry-defining provider globally to exchanges, regulators, and venues for surveillance and regulatory compliance tools. We create systems that detect abnormal behavior such as insider trading and market manipulation across gigantic sets of data points. Our systems are implemented at stock exchanges (including our own), financial regulators, markets of every type, and other key pieces of financial infrastructure in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

As part of our global growth, we are now seeking a Head of APAC Sales to join our Market Surveillance technology sales team. You will be responsible for sales in the Asia and SE Asia region; focusing on the Exchange, Regulator, and Financial Infrastructure clients as well as managing existing relationships. We are open to candidates who are based in Hong Kong or in Singapore.

What You Will Do

Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that typically includes a number of major strategic customers within a territory

Responsible for Nasdaq's short and long term regional sales strategy and interaction with the customers/prospects within the territory

Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers

Is proactive at trade fairs and other technical conferences at building relationships and developing new business opportunities

Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account

Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the company's product/service strategies

Is proactive within Nasdaq as it relates to new product development

Takes ownership of problem resolution, if customer issues cannot be solved through normal channels

Proactively gathers and drives for results with the extended Nasdaq team of professionals that together manages all business activities with an existing customer or prospect

What We Expect

At least 10 years of sales or business development experience within the financial markets industry

Comfortable interacting with C-level executives, experienced with long selling cycles and confident in communicating how our solutions will contribute to the clients' overall business goals

Excellent client management, interpersonal, presentation, communication and engagement skills

A results-driven self-starter

Flexibility to take meetings outside of regular business hours and frequent travel for meetings and prospect calls

Our work arrangement is hybrid. You will be coming in to the office just 2 days per week.
