An exciting Head of Cross Border Business for a third-party logistics (3PL) company has just become available at one of the most respected and reputable international companies. Reporting directly to General Manager, this is a role for someone who has strong regional sales or cross border selling experience in the 3PL space.

About the Head of Cross Border role:

In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for the development and expansion of local cross-border business, and to focus on sales and expand local import and export logistics and transportation business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and expansion of cross-border business
• Develop sales and to increase import and export activities by providing 3PL solutions
• Responsible for market conditions information, carry out project risk assessment, feasibility and solutions
• Responsible for monitoring the operation of project, regularly conducting profit and loss analysis and formulating optimization plans
• Responsible for coordinating communication with customers and carriers, ensuring timely information and fulfillment of needs

To succeed in the Head of Cross-Border role, you will need experience in regional sales or cross-border in freight forwarding or 3PL industry.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in international freight forwarding
• Prior experience in sales and leading a team will be a plus
• Bachelor's degree in logistics/transportation or related discipline
• Familiar with international freight forwarding business, have a deep understanding of FOB/CIF/DDU/DDP/EXW and other trade modes
• Have good communication and negotiation skills, sales and presentation skills and logistics work experience
• Proficient in bilingualism (Mandarin) will be highly preferred
• Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders at different professional level
• Entrepreneurial, independent, and self-driven
• Strong analytical capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
