The Position

The Head of End-User and Transverse Services department is responsible for managing the teams responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of CACIB user communication services (Exchange, Skype, ), user computing services (Citrix / VDI), data security and transverse operations (event management and technical entitlement management).

Reporting to the Head of ISAP/ITS - Asia, this senior manager has overall responsibility over a pool of 60 staffs mixed between internal and external ones.

CA-CIB is looking for a result-oriented individual with the ability to challenge and improve current ways of working and drive actions across technical teams and geographies to a tangible outcome. He / she will play a key role in the establishment of ISAP-ITS as a best-in-class Operations Centre for IT production within CA-CIB.

Main Responsibilities

The Head of End-User and Transverse Services department is part of the senior management team of ISAP ITS department locally and of the Build and Run department of ITS globally. The scope of services provided by his teams covers the RUN of CACIB systems for workplace and data security services, which are primarily located in France and UK and to a certain extent in Singapore.

As the manager of his team, he:

• Manages and controls the activity of his 3 direct reports (as a manager of managers),
• Coaches and develops his direct reports and key resources,
• Secures staff sourcing and retention in Singapore,
• Animates the team to encourage collaboration and sharing of practices.

As the manager of his scope of activity, he:

• Ensures activity is performed with high level of quality and in alignment with norms, standards, processes and procedures,
• Owns and leads the resolution of major and sometimes complex incidents involving multiple CACIB teams across geographies and / or external vendors,
• Owns the run the bank for his scope in close coordination with his Run counterparts in Paris,
• Supports the change the bank in close coordination with the Build teams based in Paris,
• Challenges existing processes and practices and brings new ways of working,
• Ensures team productivity, continuous service improvement and department optimization
• Manages and optimizes costs.

As an experienced professional in IT Infrastructure, he:

• Supports and challenges his managers and experts on technical matters,
• Is aware of the global IT Infrastructure ecosystem and practices so that he anticipates risks and challenges,
• Monitors the technical watch.

As a member of ISAP/ITS management team, he:

• Actively contributes to transverse initiatives at both local and global level with the capability to lead some of them,
• Participates in strategy, organization and governance discussions to optimize and improve current model,
• Fosters innovation.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor or Master in relevant specialties

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT environment with minimum 8 years in managerial positions
• Working in Banking environment and / or international organization will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership with the ability to drive global teams to results in an autonomous manner
