Position : Head of Digicom, APAC Summary: A critical member of the team, this role will be responsible for driving sales growth, and building Hersheys Digicom capabilities across the APAC region. The Head of Digicom will need to work closely with local markets, to execute plans for Omni, Pureplay and all other E commerce platforms. The role will also be responsible for establishing new partnerships in this rapidly evolving space. The Digicom Lead, must have superior vision to see beyond the current digital commerce landscape in identifying category building ideas and the ability to work cross-functionally, both inside the company and within customer's organization, to develop and execute identified opportunities. Major Duties/Responsibilities: MARKET STRATEGIES In a fast paced and ever changing channel environment the Digicom lead will need to identify: 'where to win' and 'how to win' across markets. Tailored strategies across Omni, Marketplace and other developing platforms such as Quick Commerce This role is accountable for creating capabilities to drive a significant and sustainable eComm business for APAC , by managing all aspects of business planning, customer marketing, portfolio strategy, content and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, customer service, web analytics and web technologies. Close collaboration with global & regional Digicom teams will be required to to execute plans in line with Hershey global ecommerce strategy, whilst adapting to local market diynamics. Develop and execute mutually beneficial joint business plans with local distributor partners and implementation across strategic retailers across APAC. Partner with marketing to identify a long term portfolio strategy for the channel. Influencing an E-commerce culture across markets. This role will act as a centre of excellence hub across AEMEA and will be required to share best in class practices with other regions. SALES AND CUSTOMER/TRADE MARKETING EXECUTION Execution of strategies which optimizes profitability and sales revenue whilst achieving company, category and customer objectives Creation of and management of A+ product pages, relevant innovation, and ensuring a best in class user experience (including site navigation, content development, etc). Implement key Test & Learns followed up with analysis, ROI and recommendations Build influential relationships with key customers and collaborate internally with stakeholders to deliver first class insights and solutions. Work with internal marketing teams to build brand presence within the ecommerce space Indirectly lead a cross-functional team supporting the eCommerce strategy which includes marketing , finance , supply chain , QRC & category. Ownership and delivery of Digicom annual & strategic plans. Support BDM and distributor teams with market leading concept sells to the trade Development and execution of customer specific solutions e.g. assortment, visibility, pricing and promotion which achieve customer, category and business objectives. Lead strategic project-based work at customers to grow the category, that will profitably grow Hershey, and demonstrate thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders Drive the omni and pureplay customer agenda focused on delivering shopper, channel and category centric solutions which accelerate customer engagement. DATA ANALYTICS & INSIGHTS Establish business reporting/KPI's to ensure progress against objectives. Implementation of Digicom scorecard. Develop and manage all aspects of web analytics and consumer/ shopper insights related to eCommerce and ensure accurate measurement of ROI. Work closely with AEMEA category and insights team to ensure appropriate data and reporting requirements for the region are met. Use data and insights to influence customers to implement solutions and identify new opportunities that will deliver results that are beneficial for both customer, category and business. This role evaluates and monitors customer initiatives to drive continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness for both customer and company. Communicates and consistently monitors progress of the execution of the strategy with internal and external stakeholders. Develops a deep understanding of our omni channel customer's environment e.g. external trends, competitors and customers current and future needs which is leveraged to build shopper centric customer plans which drive mutual growth. FINANCE,SUPPLY CHAIN Management and accountability of the Hersheys APAC E-Commerce P&L Accountable for maximizing customer and category performance whilst delivering efficient trade revenue optimization. Work with supply chain and local teams to ensure appropriate inventories and in depot availability to support execution of E commerce plans. Proven budget management skills and trade management Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: Candidates with a Bachelor Degree. He or she must know and understand current trade trends, market conditions and sales enablers through continued education and training. Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years: Experience and understanding of Digital retailers, content, and broader eCommerce landscape across Asia Pacific FMCG Sales experience that includes selling, negotiating and leveraging insights to deliver tailored customer plans, achieving company and customer objectives and advancing category leadership.
