Backed by LemmaTree (a Temasek investment firm), it has recently secured funding to expand its business and product suite. The firm is in the process of developing a new line of fintech products that will enable Financial Institutions and Non-Banking Financial Institutions to accelerate digitization of their business and give under- and unbanked communities access to digital financial services. They are headquartered in Singapore and our priority markets include ASEAN, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. We are a fast growing company, hiring a new team and keen to make an impact across the financial services sector. What you'll do: Lead the engineering strategy & delivery for core products from Ideation to Execution, ensuring that future development projects are based on the company's overall objectives and resources Working with product and design manager, define robust solutions to meet product feature deliverables Manage the software development life cycle of projects using Agile framework by setting requirements, goals and timelines for front and back-end development, Quality Assurance testing, and implementation. Drive continuous exploration, development, and delivery of product features, using data to validate hypotheses Balance MVP mindset with building for scale and defining the path to market Enable Pilot delivery with Engineering and Customer Success Maintain our product & customer SLA's and work with engineers to stay on time and deliver milestones with quality, ensuring outages and incidents are kept to a minimum Influence cross-functional engineering, business / go-to-market, and operational teams to support scale-up Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements Oversee engineering-based information Security requirements during project lifecycle, and ensure compliance with security standards including repeatable cycles for vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and application security, Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget Hire engineers and coordinate their training Implement innovative technologies Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment You should apply if: You are experienced in building and running cloud-native platforms & distributed systems You have a record of accomplishment in developing and launching software products from ground up and scale the system through growth phases You are obsessed with user-centric design and Agile software development You have experience creating specifications, clearly defining & communicating the 'what' and managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your team with a pragmatic approach You have experience working with cross-functional leaders and teams building & managing complex, large projects You love working in a start-up environment where things move fast and you have autonomy with ownership & accountability to deliver You are all about the positive transformation of environments You are comfortable influencing & managing executive stakeholders You build cultures that are inclusive and where everyone can belong You have built and worked with distributed teams Bonus points if: You have worked with decentralized technologies (Blockchain, IPFS, decentralized Apps)
