Head of Family Office, ASEAN

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore

Applications are invited for the position of Head of Family Office, ASEAN in the Dedicated Team for Attracting Businesses and Talents / Investment Promotion Unit of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Singapore, one of the official representative offices of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government in ASEAN.

The Global Family Office Team of Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), a department of the HKSAR Government responsible for attracting foreign direct investment to Hong Kong, is looking for a passionate, high-calibre and result-oriented professional to join the Dedicated Team for Attracting Businesses and Talents / Investment Promotion Unit in the HKETO in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of Business and Talent Attraction / Investment Promotion of the HKETO in Singapore, as well as seeking directives and working closely with the Global Head, Family Office, the Head of Family Office, ASEAN will be responsible for outreach to the ASEAN markets and identify target Family Offices (FOs) by: * Engaging and facilitating target Family Offices in ASEAN in setting up or expanding their FOs to Hong Kong and deliver high quality services and support,

• Leading and managing client accounts in ASEAN towards achieving goals and targets within a set timeframe;
• Coordinating with industry partners, government bodies and other relevant parties in ASEAN to participate in promotional activities/events such as round-tables, seminars, sponsored events and duty visits to promote Hong Kong as a global hub and preferred destination for FOs,
• Identifying and generating new leads into the pipeline of target FOs and producing updated information of the activities, including status, targets, feedback in the system to track the KPIs,
• Updating the Family Office team on latest relevant developments and market trends to identify and service client needs, and
• Collecting market feedback and work with the marketing and PR agencies via the Family Office team in Hong Kong to update the latest information stored in the dedicated website, pitchbook as well as marketing materials to enhance market outreach in ASEAN.

The ideal candidate should: * Possess strong track record of business development, generating leads and successfully managing relationships with Ultra-High-Net-Worth-Individuals (UHNWIs) or Family Offices in ASEAN,

• Have rich experience in managing client relationships independently and providing solutions to address clients\' needs and issues,
• Have good presentation and public speaking skills to represent InvestHK to speak at different FO related activities.
• Have the ability to be discreet and respectful of UHNWIs\' privacy and the ability for the latter to entrust him/her with handling of their queries and issues.
• Possess the ability to manage multiple touchpoints and respond quickly to changes in priorities, and that to work in cross-cultural environment and experience in managing needs and dealing with demanding requests from UHNWIs and/or FOs,
• Have previous experience in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders on event management, client support and outreach programmes.
• Be able to work independently under pressure to meet performance targets and as a team player.
• Be required to travel in the region.

Salary

The entry salary as well as terms of appointment and conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the time the offer of appointment is made.

Entry Requirements * A Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent; a higher degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Accounting or Marketing would be an advantage;

• A minimum of 8 years of proven working experience in serving/supporting Ultra-High-Net-Worth-Individuals and/or family offices gained in financial/professional services (preferably private banking and/or family offices);
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; proficiency in any ASEAN languages would be an advantage;
• Relevant experience in and broad knowledge of ASEAN are important; experiences of living and/or doing business in Hong Kong would be an asset; and
• Eligible to take up employment in Singapore without arrangement of work visa by the employer.

Term of Appointment

Two-year contract term with the possibility of extension.

Benefits

10% end-of-contract gratuity will be paid upon completion of the employment contract with satisfactory performance. Other benefits include medical coverage, annual leave, Central Provident Fund contributions, etc.
