Job Description


Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s goals and objectives.

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and stakeholders.

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analysis of financial performance.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.

3. Risk Management and Compliance:

- Develop and implement effective risk management policies and procedures.

- Monitor and evaluate financial risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

4. Investor Relations:

- Collaborate with the investor relations team to provide accurate and timely financial information to investors and stakeholders.

- Participate in investor meetings and presentations, addressing financial inquiries and providing insights on financial performance.

5. Team Management:

- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.

- Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging professional development and growth within the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master\'s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.

- Minimum of 15 years of relevant finance experience, with a focus on real estate investment trusts (REITs) and experience working with developers.

- Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.

- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
