Join them in this exciting journey as a: HEAD OF FINANCE s Operations \xc2\xb7 Oversee the process of the day to day finance functions, monthly and yearly closing of financial accounts \xc2\xb7 Ensure that accruals and prepayments are recorded correctly and in a timely manner \xc2\xb7 Review and post journal entries in Navison Accounting System \xc2\xb7 Ensure proper allocation of income and expenses to the respective centres in Navision \xc2\xb7 Review monthly bank reconciliation statements, intercompany accounts, fund balances, accrual/ prepayment/ amortisation schedules \xc2\xb7 Maintain the chart of accounts, cost center and internal order master tables in Navision system \xc2\xb7 Provide guidance and advice on accounting related matters \xc2\xb7 Monitor and forecast cash flow \xc2\xb7 Review and enhance internal policies and procedures to ensure that they are updated and relevant to the current business environment \xc2\xb7 Liaise with external parties such as auditors and banks \xc2\xb7 Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff \xc2\xb7 Ensure that payments are in compliance with internal policies and controls \xc2\xb7 Payment verifier for all outgoing payments \xc2\xb7 Liaise with banks on all bank-related matters \xc2\xb7 Review and enhance internal payment policies and procedures to ensure that they are updated and relevant to the current business environment Accounts Payable Functions \xc2\xb7 Oversee the process of all disbursements to Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs), payments to external vendors, staff claims and reimbursement processes Audits \xc2\xb7 Attend to auditor\xe2\x80\x99s queries and requests for information \xc2\xb7 Oversee the preparation process of annual audit schedules and financial statements Management Reporting \xc2\xb7 Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial and management reports (i.e. Income & Expenditure, Balance Sheet, Fund Balance) and submission to Executive Directors, including presentation in the Board Meetings \xc2\xb7 Analyse and report significant variances against budget \xc2\xb7 Review and update expense allocation methodologies Budgeting \xc2\xb7 Assist the Executive Director to prepare annual budget Ad Hoc \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties assigned by Executive Director Requirements \xc2\xb7 Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with minimum 5-8 years of relevant financial accounting experience \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Meticulous and organized \xc2\xb7 Experience in grant administration and charities accounting would be an added advantage \xc2\xb7 Meticulous individual with high integrity \xc2\xb7 Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills \xc2\xb7 Able to attend and participate in regular devotions in church Are you ready for a challenging and exciting endeavour that will require the investment of a lot of hard work, dedication and all your experience?
