Our client is one of Asia’s leading Fintechs, a hyper-growth stage firm that is constantly developing its technology function and product offerings. They are well-funded and have a strong footprint in South East Asia with a strong banking and fintech customer base. With constant growth and expansion within the business, they are looking for a Head of Government/Industry Relations candidate to join the team to cover the APAC market and focus on building and maintaining relating relationships.
Some responsibilities will include:

• Understanding of the eKYC and Alternative Credit Scoring Regulations
• Being able to communicate and establish relationships with the regulators in crucial markets like ID, IN, SG, MY, TH, and PH.
• Identify and establish relationships with key associations in crucial markets like ID, IN, SG, MY, TH, and PH.
• Thought leadership in the emerging technology i.e. Web 3.0 and Crypto to influence Industry and Regulations

Ideal candidate:

• 7+ years of experience working in Fintech/Crypto/Blockchain or Payment Industry
• Prior experience in dealing with regulators and government entities is good to have
• Understanding of eKYC or Credit Scoring industry would be an advantage
• Prior experience working with start-ups, fintech, or new-age tech companies is preferred
• Experience in being super-efficient and keeping up with a fast-paced environment without compromising accuracy and quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with colleagues and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Professional-level English and an Asian language are preferred.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and the right attitude to evolve within a start-up culture.
