Position Purpose

Talent Management:
  • Partner HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Businesses in identifying, developing and retaining a high potential talent pool aligned to our present and future business strategy for the region.
Career Management:
  • Design, implement, and support Career Management & development initiatives for all employees
Direct Responsibilities:

Talent Management
  • Serve as a strategic partner of the Business for all aspects of the talent development lifecycle
  • Set & execute a regional talent strategy aligned to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s & APAC\xe2\x80\x99s present and future business strategy
  • Engage with HR Country heads, local/regional HRBPs, and global colleagues to identify opportunities and deploy scalable solutions
  • Develop talent-focused programmes to grow the talent pipeline and support succession management
Succession Planning
  • Drive succession planning in the Bank in APAC
  • Drive initiatives to ensure a diverse & sustainable APAC Succession pipeline
Career Management
  • Ownership of the Professional Path Policy for BNP Paribas Employees
  • Ensure overall completion of the annual HR interviews (HR Catch Up Meeting) and provide updates on trends preiodically
Transversal/Transformation projects
  • Lead / contribute to transversal HR projects as required
Team & Resource Management
  • Lead, develop, and grow the team
  • Manage the HCD budget and minimise cost while increasing efficiency
  • Ensure compliance of BNP Paribas\xe2\x80\x99 talent practices

Experience and Qualifications required
  • Strong people-oriented professional with at least 10 years in an L&D, OD, or Business Partnering role
  • Good understanding of HR processes and procedures, with depth of knowledge of Career Management Practices
  • Previous exposure to transformational HR or talent/career management analytics projects is a plus
  • Experience using relevant HR systems advantageous (PeopleSoft, Taleo, My Development)
  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Undergraduate degree (minimum) preferred
