Job Description

Working for large financial services industry, You will be managing team of 40+ members to provide technology infrastructure services with the following responsibilities

• Accountable for a high-performing computing infrastructure including, but not limited to, planning and management of Infrastructure services (servers, network, databases, middleware, storage )
• Be accountable for the IT services and support availability, strategic planning, and management of the company's IT infrastructure
• Lead the team and provide technical guidance
• Ensure the continual functioning of mission critical operations. Track and maintain technology operation services within the established SLAs, and create key metrics and user satisfaction measures focusing on the continuous improvement of services;
• Help identify opportunities to automate systems and processes throughout our entire organization. Develop innovative solutions to business problems, adoption of new processes, services and technologies to meet the needs of the organization;
• Oversee departmental finances, including budgeting, and forecasting with the Vice President IT. Tracks budgets to actuals, manages spend to forecasts, and identifies ways to optimize existing budget;
• Build and lead a high-performance team . Partner with HR to recruit, hire, and provide appropriate training for IT support staff;
• Oversee Change Management activities. Ensure all activities follow proper SDLC practices including testing. Lead root cause analysis activities as needed;

Requirements

• Excellent Infrastructure leader with excellent leadership abilities, management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Has a proven record of strategic planning, budgeting and resource management, change management, and in effecting productivity gains and process improvements;
• Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, business applications cybersecurity and data privacy; experience in balancing compliance and security requirements with user experience and productivity;
• Ability to define problems - Identifies problems; collects data, determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations;
• Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of high-performance team development. You lead by example and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves;
• Team Player. Reinforces team approach throughout practice both on client projects and internal initiatives;
• Communicate effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions/strategies and continue to deepen client relationships;
• Communicate with the IT department of changes and news worthy events within the company and effectively communicate relevant IT-related information to management and public;
• Mentor, grow and guide IT junior management by assigning tasks, reviewing status reports and addressing problems as needed;
• Proven track record of maturing and automating IT systems and processes
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables;
• Work with HR to handle personnel situations in a fair and respectful manner;
• Sound judgment; initiative; flexibility; detail-oriented;
• Documented working experience with design, development or enhancement of ERP, Business Intelligence, Data Integration solutions. Experience with system development, complex project management;
• Documented working experience with Microsoft Windows Environments, Public and Private Cloud environments, VMWare, Citrix, Office 365 and DR/BC applications
