Our client is a global private bank with a rich history and investment management, real estate financing, wealth management, and select offerings in sales and trading.

Their IT Risk Management is a regional function in Asia responsible for technology risk governance and management.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall IT risk governance and chair the IT Risk Management Forum along with Supporting the rollout of IT risk management strategy, framework and standard(s):

Preservation of the central risk register.

Tracking and monitoring of risk mitigation plans and reporting on risk remediation and mitigation plans.

Accountable for risk reporting and feeding back to the IT Risk Management Committee and Operational Risk.

Provide support on technology regulatory requirements and risk assessment.

SPOC for all external and internal audits within IT.

Provide risk transparency through reporting and analysis through regular risk forums.

In addition, you will:

Work closely with the global IT Risk Management ensuring consistency in the adoption of risk practices, framework and processes.

Regulate internal control plans by way of managing, tracking and reporting the operational risks.

Work with the Information Security function to drive the implementation and/or mitigation of Cyber risks as well as with local compliance functions for reporting of technology related breaches.

Collaborate with IT Project Managers to determine, alleviate and treat residual risks that may arise.

Track audit remediation plans to ensure timely and proper closure of IT audit points.

Skills Requirements:

15 years of experience in IT risk management, within the banking industry would be advantageous. Experience with wealth management would also be advantageous.

Thorough understanding of business and IT processes.

Certified in ITIL is preferable.

Strong understanding of the technology regulatory framework, specifically within Singapore and Hong Kong including experience working with regulators.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with demonstratable leadership experience and conflict resolution abilities.
