Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the brand\'s marketing, digital and communication strategies, as well as overall branding and image to ensure the development and implementation of the marketing plan. You will maintain a strong control over the day to day running of marketing and Public Relation to ensure the delivery of our ambitious growth plan and a seamless customer experience.
  • Working with partner brands, internal teams and ambassadors to amplify our brand voice and build awareness in new customer segments. You will manage our events programme, Gallery and Akademie services to engage with new and existing customers and to increase brand equity.

  • Working with the MD and Leadership Team, develop and deliver a creative, effective, and successful cross channel regional and local marketing strategy and annual marketing plan to drive demand for our brand and products overall.
  • Create and support a marketing strategy by sector (Photo, Sports Optics, Home Cinema and Timepieces) and by key lines that delivers target KPIs.
  • Develop and lead on marketing campaigns and brand partnerships involving the Akademie as appropriate to inspire enthusiasm and desire for our brand.
  • Work with the MD and Gallery to develop and execute the strategy for the Gallery to achieve objectives of increasing our outreach and desire for the brand.
  • Develop and deliver the communications strategy with the Public Relation agency to maximise audience engagement.
  • Plan and implement effective Go-to-Market 360 launches incorporating all channels across the business, liaising key department stakeholders (e.g., Retail, Operations, Education and Wholesale).
  • Ensure consistent brand image and message across all retailers, events, channels, and wider communications both traditional and in the digital space.
  • Create and manage brand partnerships for customer acquisition and increased brand awareness and understanding.
  • Lead the roll out and monitoring of sales promotion campaigns.
  • Broker and develop appropriate advocate/ambassador relationships, enabling us to reach a wider customer base and expand our brand\'s footprint in Singapore and SEA
  • Achieve company CRM KPIs by planning and executing campaigns across all channels.
  • Ensure strong trade marketing support across our retailer network, co-ordinating and planning carefully with Sales, Education and Retail.
  • Maintain and champion all media relationships for the company, identifying new and relevant opportunities for our brand. This will include traditional photographic and lifestyle media as well as digital web editors, bloggers, social media influencers and other relevant digital leaders. * Strategic and financial
  • Responsible for the planning, updating and reforecasting of Marketing budget highlighting risks and opportunities to the P&Ls.
  • Analyse our environment and target audiences and business trends including identifying pain points within the market which can be used to create opportunities.
  • Develops key metrics and analytics with Marketing and Finance team to ensure ROI across all marketing activities and channels.
  • Monitor competitor activity within the photographic, optics, home cinema and timepieces space, ensuring we remain a step ahead.
  • Monitor closely forecast accuracy with the Operations team and MD and participate actively in Sales & Operations meetings to achieve product sales targets and profitability.
  • Ensure that all stockholding and stocktaking procedures are executed accurately and targets met. * Team leadership
  • Manage the Marketing, Gallery, and Akademie teams with a coaching approach.
  • Work with HR to ensure teams have current and challenging personal development plans, and that they are maintained and updated throughout the year.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed according to company guidelines.
Requirements:
  • More than 8 years of brand management and/or marketing experience in retail and/or FMCG industry
  • Experience in consumer brand will be advantageous
  • Good business insights to the industry and strong business acumen
  • Good analytical skills, problem solver, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong understanding of the P&L of the business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track sales record in a target driven environment
  • Strong people management experience with the ability to motivate, inspire, coach, and develop people.
  • Meticulous with a strong analytical mind
  • Creatively driven to think out of the box.
