Purposes of the Role
Develop and manage Key Account strategies with key retail & wholesale clients and trade associations to maximize PMI's long term profitable share growth. Develop business building relationships with internal and external customers that can be leveraged to build PM premium brand equity.
Your 'day to day'
Optimizes Key Account department structure to maximize all sales, profit, product distribution, visibility, and people development opportunities. Develops and communicates annual and strategic direction for the National Key Account department incorporating the setting of segment and client specific brand volume, share, visibility, and profit objectives.
Facilitates the annual Key Account 'Game Plan' process incorporating strategic implementation plans and key measurement criteria. Negotiates Trading Term agreements with the key strategic accounts that maximize PM sales growth, product distribution, visibility, and profitability. Develops and leverages effective business building relationships with PMI's key clients for mutual sales and profitability benefit through the development and implementation of category management principles such as Space management, scan sales data and category education.
Regularly evaluates key accounts' performance to identify potential opportunities, and design & implement strategies to exploit all opportunities.
Facilitates and reviews the development of business building programs designed to increase PM volume and share. Effectively leverages PM's global position and premium brand equity through development, management, and implementation of Global agreements
Leads, coaches, and develops Key Account team to ensure we continue to retain and develop the best global talent.
Who we're looking for
Handled management of distributors and key accounts servicing for a leading multinational FMCG company in a supervisory level. Has experience in covering both general trade and key accounts channel of the market. Preferred MBA, minimum university degree in related area, sales background knowledge. Direct Key Accounts and Trade Marketing experience preferred, 5-8 years' experience.
