About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of People with a strong background in startups to join our growing company. As the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading and developing all HR-related functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management. You will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, driving employee satisfaction, and ensuring that we are attracting and retaining top talent.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that support our company\'s goals and values.
  • In charge of maintaining company values, employee engagement, employee retention, and employee morale across the company.
  • In charge of ensuring and maintaining high-performance culture across the company, from leaders to members.
  • Set up and oversee the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to attract exceptional people and maintain high performance.
  • Coordinate talent development: create individual and group solutions (e.g. coaching, training, feedback) that improve capabilities and skills at all levels of the company, including leaders and team members.
  • Set up and lead the performance management process, to develop, retain and maintain high-performing employees. And promote collaboration, performance, and accountability.
  • Design organizational structures and career pathways for the team, that encourage effective operations, succession planning, and opportunities for maturing employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including those related to payroll, benefits, and leave policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, serving as a trusted advisor and resource
  • Work with other departments and teams to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, making recommendations to management as needed
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in HR or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR leadership role, with a preference for startup experience
  • Proven record of setting up HR strategies, talent acquisition processes, onboarding processes, performance management processes and employee engagement processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Passion for creating a positive and supportive work environment for employees



OTHER INFORMATION:
  • Location: One North.
    • Might require travel to the warehouse/showroom/roadshows to meet and engage with our team!
  • Working hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. OT will be required from time to time depending on business needs.
