:Responsibilities:Governance and Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the day-to-day execution of private banking operations to ensure that the asset quality and risk management of each client complies with established banking policies and procedures.
Establish and carry out activities to ensure sales processes are in accordance with bank\'s policies/procedures and respective markets\' regulations.
Continually strengthen systems, procedures and compliance to ensure protection of the bank and clients\' interests.
Provide oversight and guidance on PB risk and credit management, ongoing monitoring and regulatory reporting as per requirements by MAS.
Set Governance\'s priorities and key focus areas as part of the annual plan (as presented to the Private Banking Pre-AMS) and ensure this is rolled out. Report any results or deviations to the plan to relevant committees.
Oversee the effective functioning of the Regional Private Banking Special Client Committee in order to effectively manage AML/CFT risks.
People Management
Coach individual and teams to deliver a high level of services to internal and external clients.

Requirements:Qualifications
University Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Economics or related field
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
Wealth Management Institute (WMI) Private Banking certification(s) and/or other relevant regulatory certificate will be an added advantage
Relevant Work Experience
10 years of relevant experience in Private Banking
Minimally 5 years of experience heading Compliance, Risk & Governance units in Private Banking
Technical/Functional Skills
Familiar with KYC and account documentation
Familiar with private banking investment, credit and wealth-planning products
Experience in dealing with ASEAN HNW individuals and institutions
Good knowledge in risk assessment and credit analysis

Leadership, business acumen, strategic planning, results oriented, negotiation, analytical and people management skills
Well informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and regulations for the Private Banking segment
Strong local network, extensive product and services and advisory knowledge, along with a highly driven and strong sales/hunter mind-set
Good knowledge of banking products/processes and presents strong record of consistent performance
Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
