Job Function 1. Responsible for the entire quality management system and quality audit functions of the organisation to meet the overall business operation strategy. To direct, oversee, plan, coordinate and evaluate a comprehensive program to improve clinical outcomes, enhance value, encourage patient-centric culture and minimize patient harm. Ensure promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization Oversee the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and ensure potential risks were managed with appropriate mitigated measures. As a Data Protection Officer (DPO), Responsible to develop and update policies to handle personal data both in electronic or manual form and its compliance. This includes: Keeping up to date with organisation's data protection policies and practices. Ensuring organisation's compliance with data protection obligation. Developing processes to manage data protection related queries and complaints from the public. Job Roles and Responsibilities Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. Oversees the Quality & Safety framework comprises of four elements: Detection, Analysis, Improvement and Change Management Ensure compliance with statutory medical standards and practices. Keep abreast of appropriate regulatory agency requirements related to quality assurance and patient safety standards Identify and recommend operational improvements and develop consistent standards to mitigate overall exposure of business risks Audit and risks assessment of clinical operations, including appropriate preventive and routine maintenance programmes Recommend and implement best practices and effective controls across the organisation Handle document control of all document. Maintain an inventory of all policies and procedures within the organisation ensuring the correct issues of these documents are available in the online QMS and obsolete documents are promptly removed Responsible for planning and tailoring audit activities and initiatives to ensure value added to all business supported Frequently collating and interpreting facts/data arising from feedback/compliments/complaints Monitor customer satisfaction levels and initiate service excellence initiatives to enhance service quality Able to drive service and clinical quality programs and directives, benchmarking, process improvement program, etc Head the ERM for the organisation and provide periodic updates to the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) and Board on the risk matrix and track effort in Incident Response Plans (IRPs) for potential risks Oversee the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) as BCP Chairman and ensure effectiveness in its implementation Familiar with MOH Licensing and Accreditation matters including Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) and Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (PHMC) Act Work with consultants and internal stakeholders to achieve and maintain certification ie. ISO 9001 Bizsafe, DPTM, etc. Able to manage clinical and non-clinical complaints including medico-legal related matters Able to implement LEAN methodology in work practices to allow seamless operations at the clinic and non-clinic activities Able to drive Quality Improvement Projects and Service Excellence Programme to enhance the customer service Undertake any other duties as assigned by CEO Educational Qualifications & Work Experience Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management, or other relevant discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in operations in healthcare industry Familiar with an Audit and Risk Management Healthcare Quality Management experience would be an advantage.
