HubSpot\'s overarching mission is to help businesses grow better. In support of that mission, HubSpot is seeking an inspiring, inclusive and customer-centric Head of Sales, Asia. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for helping to develop our high-velocity sales strategy as well as building, leading and developing our sales teams within Asia, spanning Small Business, Mid-Market and Corporate segments. You will also be expected to represent HubSpot externally, align the parts of our business against a strategic plan, as well as maintain and develop our culture internally.

You will refine and improve current go-to-market sales strategies by leveraging metrics and analysing trends in the business and partnering with key team members across HubSpot\'s go-to-market organisation. You will inspire your team to do their best work, and coach your Managers and sales reps to develop their careers and execute with excellence. You will be masterful in customer engagements, as well as being a cultural and behavioral role model for all our Asia employees.

In this role, you\'ll get to:

  • Lead HubSpot\'s Asia Sales organisation of 35+ people to meet or exceed sales and bookings goals, and other expectations established by executive leadership.
  • Be accountable for business growth, achieving overall metrics (revenue, retention, budget, customer and employee satisfaction etc.), and accurate business forecasting
  • Attract and develop top talent who bring a unique perspective to HubSpot, through best in class recruiting, onboarding, and training methodologies in tandem with our recruitment, learning and development teams
  • Be an effective cross-functional partner to key business stakeholders such as the heads of Sales Strategy, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, Human Resources among others.
More broadly, you will also:
  • Provide \xe2\x80\x9cdotted line\xe2\x80\x9d leadership to the Asia heads of business across all functions to drive, support and influence the go-to-market strategies and operational optimisation
  • Guide the team through changing product trends, increased competition and adjust to economic indicators
  • Foster a high-performing and energetic culture that instills a feeling of inclusion, psychological safety and belonging
  • Articulate and influence for regional growth investments yielding long-term impact
  • Represent HubSpot Asia on PR and media relations, in partnership with our communications team.
We Are Looking For People Who:
  • Have a strong track record of overachieving sales targets in a high volume, high growth business. Multi-product sales experience is a plus.
  • Are experienced in leading and developing diverse and high performing sales teams across multiple customer segments.
  • Have experience and a good working knowledge of doing business across Asia including priority markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
  • Have previous sales experience working with a Partner (indirect channel) ecosystem (required).
  • Have proven leadership, team management, and coaching skills including a mix of first, and second line management experience and a consistent track record of hiring, developing, motivating and mentoring successful teams.
  • Relish the opportunity to represent an organisation publicly, and are equally comfortable communicating with the press and our employees.
  • Have clear examples of leveraging multiple data sources to inform key decision making
  • Have experience creating a high-energy, inclusive team culture that fosters trust and a sense of empowerment
  • Have deep understanding of customer values, needs, and goals to design processes solving for customers first
  • Are naturally curious. If something seems off, you want to figure out what is going on and fix it.
  • Have previous experience working in software, IT and/or SaaS industries (preferred).
