Cap Vista, the venture investment arm for MINDEF, focuses on harnessing dual-use technologies companies through strategic partnership with reputable VCs, innovation entities, government agencies and other ecosystem agencies, to create value to our portfolio companies and Singapore\'s Defence Tech Community. Our tech focus areas include cybersecurity, AI, autonomy and robotics, sensors and network and communications etc.

Opportunity

We are looking for innovative and technically strong personnel to join us in Cap Vista Pte Ltd as Head of Strategic Partnership.

You will play a central role in facilitating and promoting the engagement and adoption of dual-use technologies by our Defence partners. Through your bottom-up research / analysis, and by cultivating and developing your start-up ecosystem network, you will identify dual-use start-ups with potential applicability to defence. You will need to be well plugged into the Defence ecosystem, and understand their problem statements and interests, so as to be able to spearhead collaboration between Defence Partners and the start-up and/or ecosystem partners.

As Head of Strategic Partnership, you will lead and manage various partnership and engagements with identified strategic partners and other global partners. These partnership and engagement will enhance Cap Vista\'s effectiveness in harnessing dual-use technologies. Through the partnership, you will work with the strategic partners to explore new collaboration models in identifying and engaging dual-use start-ups for defence purposes.

Requirements

• A self-starter, analytical, have your own point-of-view and be comfortable expressing it.
• Possess high work ethics and energy to work in the fast-paced environment independently with minimal supervision
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be expected to engage with C-level teams across the ecosystem, ranging from start-ups to investors and industry players.
• Interested in the start-up ecosystem and working with early-stage companies. You will be expected to build up your knowledge in venture capital and network in the start-up ecosystem quickly.
• Have a passion for technology and innovation, and willing to learn and pick up a broad diverse range of knowledge and skillsets beyond your established competencies.
