Job Title: Head of Sustainable Assets APAC \xe2\x80\x93 Sustainability Consulting

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our team as the Head of Sustainable Assets APAC \xe2\x80\x93 Sustainability Consulting leading our Sustainable Assets practice with specialized expertise in the sustainable built environment. JLL provides sustainable asset services across 11 countries in APAC for both investor and occupier clients. The Head of Sustainable Assets APAC \xe2\x80\x93 Sustainability Consulting will be responsible for developing, implementing, and harmonizing the overall Sustainable Assets practice strategy across the region.

The ideal candidate has a strong consulting leadership background and has worked across a number of APAC countries. This role will report to the Head of Sustainability Consulting APAC and has a unique opportunity to develop and own the expansion of the sustainable assets practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, management, and oversight for all Sustainability Asset services in APAC
  • Update/develop and lead the implementation of JLL\xe2\x80\x99s strategy to enhance our role and market share in sustainable asset services across APAC
  • Work closely with the country Heads and the Head of Sustainability Strategy to develop new offerings.
  • Develop client relations in collaboration with the country Heads and have responsibility for developing clear scope of works for sustainable asset services proposals , including technical conceptualization and report writing.
  • Grow capabilities through development of new partnerships, recruitment of high-quality technical personnel and the standardization of the delivery processes
  • Represent JLL as a thought leader at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Ensure assignments are staffed and carried out as planned, through clear scopes of work, high-quality personnel, and facilitative oversight.
  • Provide (technical) oversight and support on our strategic projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Provide project updates, lessons learned, and stories for communication and learning purposes.
  • Monitor and support performance via regular tracking of financial and program reports, performance data, communication with field teams, and periodic supervisory travel.
  • Manage the team in sustainable assets through community of practice model.
  • Mentor staff to ensure high levels of motivation, commitment, capacity, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in sustainability, environmental science, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sustainability consulting, focusing on sustainable assets and green building practices.
  • 5-6 years of demonstrated experience supervising senior professionals.
  • Experience assessing and building capacity, managing organizational change processes, and strategic planning required.
  • Strong track record of leading, conceptualizing, and writing winning technical proposals
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, green building certifications, and regional regulations in the APAC region.
  • Experience working to strengthen and building relationships with real estate investors and MNCs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one\xe2\x80\x99s sleeves to get the job done
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team of sustainability professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex sustainability concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP, WELL AP, etc are highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in additional languages spoken in the APAC region is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
