Our shared mission is to amplify, augment and accelerate the Home Team\'s advantage and secure Singapore as the safest place on planet earth.What you will be working on:As a Head (Sensemaking Application) in HTX, you are responsible to lead in the planning, roadmap development, and delivery of next generation enterprise sensemaking capabilities. This covers end-to-end implementation and sustenance of the systems and applications from eliciting business requirements, defining and delivering suitable solutions and ensuring their continued operations. The job-holder will collaborate with various teams (within HTX and across Home Teams) and is responsible to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop enterprise sensemaking application with video/data analytics, AL/ML models and advance dashboarding \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the agile development and conducting design thinking workshops with users on story mapping, creating user stories with operational insights that address operational challenges in a proactive manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing and enhancing video hub to ensure the smooth onboarding of sensor projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep abreast of technological advances in Video Surveillance, Video Analytics, Big Data Technologies, database designs & architecture and government policies & recommendations, etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and execute the procurement of the system/platform in a timely manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate and recommend the solution that best address the needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the vendors to develop and deliver the solution \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify, manage project risks and implications to the project and to recommend mitigating measures \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage contractual and payment matters affecting the projects and ensure that systems are operating according to service level agreements \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand the various prevailing policies and security guidelines and to ensure the system and processes are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines The job-holder will be expected to have supervisory duties as well, in managing a small team to deliver the above tasks. The job-holder will be required to manage and supervise areas such as staff training, competency management and 360 feedback. This is a mid-level management position.What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or relevant disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess good business acumen and experience in keeping abreast of the industry trends, best practices, and technologies \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interest in technologies and innovation \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong planning and project management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently and as a team \xe2\x80\xa2 Facilitation skills, planning skills, problem-solving skills, organising capabilities and foresight to drive projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Good analytical, interpersonal, communications and facilitation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Competent, self-motivated, pro-active, dedicated and responsible self-starter All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
