You shall:
  • Lead and guide the Pre-Sales & Technical Support in Singapore Market Unit to enable sales in designing, cost estimation, technical submission preparation, budgeting, quotations and tenders
  • Liaise with factories and regional tech support experts to respond on all major technical and product application matters
  • Carry out projects following pre-defined schedule and budget while maintaining high standard of work to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Drive Value Engineering programs to be competitive while ensuring compliance to customer requirements
  • Provide necessary approvals for a smooth completion of projects
  • Perform competitive analysis of competitor products and technologies and develop strategies on selling
  • Assist the field sales team to prepare and compile presentation materials
  • Maintain catalogues, white papers, application and engineering material to ensure they are updated and readily accessible
  • Lead and motivate local team and build rapport with both sales and post sales team.
  • Conduct training to internal employees on company products and offerings
You have:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • 10+ years experience in application and technical support function, out of which 3 years should be in a managerial capacity
  • Excellent technical knowledge related to mission critical infrastructure products and solutions
  • Keep abreast of changes that take place in the industry, especially the Data Center and Communication sectors and understand the implications of the technical trends to the business
  • Good communication skills
