Job Description
Direct Search Global is working with an international petrochemical company to fill a vacancy for HSE Officer to be based at their chemical plant at Jurong Island.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute and maintain health, safety, and environment programs to promote healthy and safe workplace environments.
- Identify, assess, and manage hazard and risk with corrective and preventive measures.
- Review and update HSE policies and procedures timely.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections and advise control actions.
- Oversee and enhance HSE performance.
- Organize training programs to promote HSE information.
- Reports to HSE Manager.
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Workplace Safety & Health or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of HSE work experience in oil & gas, chemical or petrochemical industries.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good writing skills and resourceful.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
