Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities. This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense, and aerospace, as well as research and development. We are presently seeking an Senior HR Advisor that will continue to be responsible for the full spectrum of payroll functions in compliance with statutory requirement and Organization\xe2\x80\x99s policies. Main responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monthly payroll processing for ESG & QSG;
  • Prepares cessation staff\xe2\x80\x99s final salary and brief them on their payment;
  • Ensures timely and accurate CPF contributions, Annual Year-end Tax Filing and IR21 submission;
  • Coordinates with Tax Consultant in Hypo Tax matters for seconded staff in Batam;
  • Ensures the different leave types of entitlement is updated with the correct data annually;
  • Manages leave system and leave accrual matters and queries;
  • Submits timely Government Paid Leave claims and ensures correct reimbursement;
  • Coordinates with Government agencies such as IRAS \xe2\x80\x93 Tax, MOM \xe2\x80\x93 Employment Act and CPF Board \xe2\x80\x93 Payroll to keep updated and adheres to the legal mandates;
  • Attends to annual payroll audit (PWC, EDB);
  • Reviews payroll processing controls to ensure all related documentation are reviewed;
  • Provides advice on insurance benefit, assists to obtain Letter of Guarantee from insurer and manages Group Insurance claims;
  • Performs other adhoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management / Business Administration or its equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in manufacturing environment;
  • Well-versed with employment guidelines and Employment Act;
  • Good interpersonal skill such as meticulous, analytical and team player;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
