At Write Edge, we specialise in providing high-quality English and Writing tuition classes for Primary and Secondary school students in Singapore.

The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students.

From just 12 students and 1 branch in Lorong Ah Soo, Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 8 physical branches and has online presence in both Singapore and Malaysia.

With decades of combined teaching, curriculum and education management experience, we\xe2\x80\x99ve got a well-seasoned team at the helm. We work very hard to help our students have the best experience at Write Edge and take great pride in what we do.

Be a part of the influential Human Resource team at Write Edge, dedicated to managing a diverse portfolio of HR functions and initiatives. From talent acquisition and development to employee engagement and performance management, our team works closely with the different teams in Write Edge to reach its goals in the Singapore market.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Offboarding Employees:

  • Conduct engaging orientation sessions to welcome new employees and familiarise them with our company culture and values.
  • Manage the onboarding process to facilitate the seamless integration of new hires into their roles and the organisation.
  • Implement a structured offboarding process, including exit interviews, to gather valuable feedback and insights from departing employees.
HR Analytics:
  • Utilise data-driven insights to forecast annual and day-to-day recruitment needs, ensuring optimal staffing levels.
  • Analyse retention metrics and conduct pulse checks to identify areas for improving employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee the company\'s Glassdoor profile and develop strategies to enhance our employer brand.
  • Create and manage referral programs to attract top talent through employee referrals.
HR Administration:
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll management for all staff members.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential staff records, including personal information and employment details.
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific labour laws and regulations regarding employee compensation and benefits.
  • Overseeing / Processing the entire payroll process, ensuring that employee hours, salaries, and benefits are accurately calculated and processed on time.
HR Communication:
  • Develop and execute effective HR communication strategies to keep employees informed about important updates, policies, and organisational news.
Performance Management:
  • Plan and execute the performance management process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
  • Support leadership development through the administration of 360 assessment and feedback tools.
  • Analyse employee engagement data to identify areas of improvement and enhance overall team satisfaction.
  • Oversee the increment and bonus cycle, ensuring fair and consistent rewards for outstanding performance.
Staff Retention and Culture:
  • Collaborate with HR and management to design and implement attractive staff benefits packages.
  • Handle general employee relations and grievances, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
