Description

We are pleased to be partnering with a renewable energy player as they expand into the Asia markets. Backed by prominent venture capital firms, our client is establishing a footprint in the region and investing in solar, wind, and carbon capture projects. They are seeking a HR Manager to join them as Employee #3 as they further their mission of promoting the use of cleaner, greener energy.

Role

As the pioneer HR Manager for Asia, your task will be to set-up the Singapore office; support the recruitment of its key hires; and establish a suitable HR structure to support the firm\xe2\x80\x99s subsequent expansion into other parts of the region. You may adapt existing HR policies from Global HQ in Europe but must ensure they remain relevant and culturally nuanced. You will play a hand in establishing frameworks for workforce planning, total rewards, performance management, talent development, and employee engagement. Finally, with a strong backbone capable of supporting regional growth \xe2\x80\x93 you will advise the leadership team on further expanding into countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, and Malaysia. This will undoubtedly be an incredibly fulfilling role for a hands-on, entrepreneurial HR Manager.

Requirements

You should be degree-qualified with at least 8-12 years of progressive HR experience across the full spectrum of HR including recruitment, total rewards, performance management, and talent development. You must be willing to be hands-on in running HR operations from on/off-boarding, work pass applications, and payroll. A pioneering, can-do spirit will finally be an absolute ingredient for success.
