In this regional role , your impact will be to drive all HR Operations and Total Rewards outcomes in Singapore & Malaysia. This is a role where you will be empowered to lead the HR Operations knowledge and processes in the designated region.

This role also provides opportunities for you to work with the wider HR community in the East Asia region to support endeavors such as Employee Engagement projects and other process improvement and People initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing :

HR Operations

  • Facilitate employee onboarding programs for new joiners, ensuring a good experience for new employees at various touchpoints.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle processes to ensure all tasks are complete.
  • Ensure HRMS records are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR related reports for Management review.
  • Maintains oversight of local HR policies in Singapore & Malaysia and ensuring changes are updated and disseminated accordingly.
  • Support HR budgeting exercises (e.g. headcount and cost budgeting).
  • Support audits and have an oversight of any compliance or legislative requirements.
  • Take on the role of SLMS (employee training platform) administrator and ensure accurate and timely updates of all employee training records. This also includes new employee account creation and other troubleshooting tasks.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment process when necessary (e.g. preparing salary proposals and employment contracts, etc.)
Total Rewards
  • Review & process monthly payroll with the external payroll service provider.
  • Responsible for pension and insurance enrollment and termination.
  • Provide accurate and timely calculation of commission for Sales teams.
  • Responsible for annual tax filing data checks.
  • Support and process the annual salary review exercises and bonus payouts.
  • Expats online payroll statement reporting & rental payment submissions.
  • Expats working visa application files preparation.
Employee Engagement
  • Be the subject matter expert to manage all employees\' HR related queries
  • Co-ordinate and participate in employee relations activities.
  • Support other HR projects that may arise.
Who We Are Looking For :
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management, HR, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in MNC environments.
  • Adept at MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong Payroll experience and knowledge in Singapore & Malaysia is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of local employment legislation in Singapore and/or Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
  • An independent problem solver who enjoys taking ownership of and driving improvements in their scope.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication flair to interact directly with stakeholders, addressing their queries and concerns independently.
Travel Percentage: 10%
