ALG is currently recruiting for a HSEQ Manager for one of our renowned leading Aerospace MRO clients based in Seletar. They are an international organization with a new facility in Singapore. This is a full-time permanent position.

The HSEQ Manager is to be responsible for the Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Safety systems existing within the company. Job Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for the continuous review and monitoring of the Quality Management systems in order to verify that the necessary procedures and systems exist under our accreditations EN 9100.
• To ensure the continuation of the accreditation by auditing and revising the systems and procedures as required.
• To liaise with customers on all matters regarding quality and take such actions necessary to maintain a quality through auditing and corrective action system.
• In liaison with the Operations Director and Production Managers to be responsible for the quality and health & safety aspects of employee training and for the control of inspection stamps to authorised holders.
• To be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the Health & Safety management system and the arrangements necessary to comply with all associated regulations and accreditations relating to the company.
• To liaise with the Production managers to ensure all the necessary Chemical Risk assessments are in place and the resultant Safe Systems of Work are then published.
• To be responsible for the accident reporting procedure.
• To ensure Health Surveillance system is in place as identified by Chemical Risk Assessment .
• To maintain a Safety Audit System as part of the Integrated Management System.
• To report the relevant Group KPI's on a regular, timely and consistent basis.
• To participate in deploying the HSEQ Improvement Projects.
• To be responsible for the continuous review and monitoring of the Environmental Management Systems in order to ensure that the necessary procedures and systems exist to maintain the relevant accreditations.
• To ensure that the company is compliant to the Environmental Protection local Regulation, solvent emission directives, pollution preventor directive, hazardous water regulator, and any others relevant to the company.

Job Requirements:

• Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental management experience - minimum of 2-3 years in a similar position
• Knowledge of risks from explosion (ATEX).
• Proficiency in EN9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, environmental analysis and chemical risks.
• Must have experience in auditing and surveillance of client and contractor activities and ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training.
• Able to build good relationships
• Proficient user of Microsoft office (Outlook, excel, word and PowerPoint)
• Familiar with challenge and change
• Experience in working in a quality & highly regulated environment advantageous.
