Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with DHL Supply Chain (DSC) APAC senior leaders to develop a HR agenda that closely supports the overall strategy of the organization.

He/she is responsible for providing HR support and advice to the DSC APAC Regional Office HR leaders and leadership in the areas of HR including talent acquisition and management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and engagement, HR policies development and local legislative guidelines that contribute to successful business outcomes.

He/she leads the implementation of key HR programs and initiatives for the APAC Regional Office. In driving service delivery, the HRBP works closely with the leads from the Centre of Excellence (COE) as well as internal and external service partners in ensuring positive employee experience and support the HR digitalization roadmap and change management.

Main Accountabilities

Business Partnering

  • Engaging business leaders in understanding their business priorities and ensure successful delivery of key people initiatives through review and implementation of HR initiatives that meets business goals.
  • Partner with leaders to identify, address, resolve and manage HR issues to ensure high levels of retention, performance, and overall satisfaction on recruitment, turnover, training, performance, recognition, and engagement.
  • Provide HR advisory support to leaders in managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Facilitate and provide guidance on HR programs and processes.
Delivery of HR Programs
  • Advocate and lead implementation of end-to-end HR programs such as Year-end review, Merit and Bonus Employee Development Review and Employee Relations agenda; e.g. Diversity & Inclusion
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition to ensure effective and responsive candidate sourcing, recruitment, graduate program coordination and other related activities as required
  • Work collaboratively with HR COE leads in following up on HR initiatives in support of business priorities
  • Ensure effective communications to advocate support on HR program rollout
Employee Engagement
  • Oversee and ensuring positive employee experience in end-to-end HR processes and services
  • Manage employee relations by examining, resolving and communicating employee concerns timely, appropriate, and confidential manner.
  • Effectively communicate and engage employees in HR initiatives
Process Governance & Reporting
  • Ensuring effective localization and impleme3ntation of global HR process control
  • Confirm all HR corresponding documents; e.g. policies, handbook, are aligned with corporate goals
  • Ensuring regular maintenance and documentation of HR processes and system maintenance
Finance & Projects
  • Support local implementation of key HR projects
  • Overseeing data quality for key HR processes in HR systems and Group reporting
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving on HR initiatives
People Management
  • Build and develop effective relations across all levels
  • Work collaboratively with cross function teams, internal and external HR service vendors
  • Providing guidance and coaching to HR service vendors and peers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, ideally you would have experience working in a complex matrix MNC organization structure and thrive well in HR business partnering and overseeing HR operations, managing day-to-day employee life cycle journey in ensuring positive employee experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field,
  • HR certification would be advantageous
  • 4 - 5 years HR experience in a MNC environment
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore employment legislation
  • Experience managing end to end HR processes
  • Proficiency in MSOffice - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive team player, able to take initiative as a individual contributor and work cohesively with the community
  • Meticulous and able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines
