Job Description


:

As part of the Compensation team within Human Resources supporting across lines of businesses across Asia Pacific, you will perform a variety of compensation activities, which include but are not limited to: supporting compensation funding activities, conducting compensation surveys, advising and guiding the Business and HR regarding compensation actions for employees, administering/coordinating annual compensation planning processes, and collecting, analyzing and reporting competitive salary and market trend data.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide annual compensation planning support, involving global coordination across multiple clients and locations.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data and provide value-add reports to help clients draw conclusions.
  • Build/adapt reports that enable modeling or analysis for client groups, leveraging technical expertise to influence business and HR clients.
  • Assist the Line of Business Compensation Manager in providing counsel to HR professionals and business managers on appropriate offer structures for internal transfers and external hires, interpretation and application of policies, resolving of compensation-related issues and annual compensation planning and administration support to client groups.
  • Participate in compensation surveys: job matching, data submission and independent analysis of benchmarking data to support compensation strategy.
  • Work on and take ownership of APAC wide as well as LOB global projects with a focus on value-add for our clients, standardization, streamlined processes and efficiencies.
  • Partner with US/UK based colleagues on Compensation related projects and activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compensation/rewards role within Banking or HR Rewards consulting industry
  • Results oriented with commercial acumen and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities all within a fast-paced team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and interpret complex data sets with a high level of accuracy while also exercising discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Strong attention to detail and the flexibility to perform under multiple deadlines
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications: advanced understanding of Excel is essential and an understanding of databases and reporting tools would be advantageous
  • Minimum of a Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent
  • Certification from Singapore\'s Institute of Human Resource Professionals would be an advantage for this role
