As HRBP, you will provide support across the Singapore HR team in the areas of HR Business Partner support & Operations management and ensure delivery of consistent HR practices aligned with HR and business strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
HR Operations (60%):
Provide operational support to managers for key HR processes covering the employee lifecycle.
Be the point of contact for immigration processes both internally and externally relating to employment passes, dependent passes, work passes, permanent residency applications and ensure compliance to adhere to its obligations with respect to business sponsorship requirements.
Be a point of contact to sign-off visa letter and invitation letter requests for Singapore employees and employee certificates of service.
Maintain HR content on internal portal, HR forms, letterhead templates and policy updates to ensure currency and relevance
Collaborate with members of HR and payroll to ensure alignment of programs, policies, process and data, e.g. condolence token, government reporting requests.
Manage Chemical Industries Employees\xe2\x80\x99 Union (CIEU) membership signups / cancellations.
Support requirements for grant submissions as and when required for all divisions relating to EDB, WDBA, IMDA & DNA grants.
Be a point of contact for correspondences enquiries on funding support claims between institutions and government agencies.
Personnel file management of employee records, supporting the various audit requests on documentations.
Collate and produce key HR dashboard, statistics, metrics etc for regulatory bodies and internal reporting.
Manage PR/PO process for the department.
HR delivery and systems - provide appropriate support and advice.
Active committee members in SG WellBeing and drive initiatives.
Drafting HR communication and responsible for annual HR communication plan.
Foundational compensation support.
Benefits administration including first level escalation point of contact, bill validation and processing.
HR Project Management (40%):
Project manage HR improvement opportunities, streamline workstreams, digital experience, work on an integrated workflows to improve efficiency & productivity.
Employee engagement and experience: Identify and champion engagement and employee experience programs to support employee motivation, focus and retention and assist in building a robust employment brand and value proposition.

Digitalization solution and management: support the end-to-end project to enable the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, retention and offboarding initiatives.
Process improvement and standardization: proactive work on gap recovery, process improvement and standardization for efficient operations in line with local legislative compliance.
Change management and integrated workflows to improve efficiency & productivity: responsible for identifying opportunities, implementing any new or change program (not limited to government policies or guidelines) and working with different stakeholders for complete execution, including developing the contents and materials to support business and employees.
Employee Relations: Identify strategies and initiatives to facilitate positive employee relations to align with changing business objectives and drivers. This may involve support effective consultation and negotiation with key stakeholders in managing employee grievances/disciplinary issues/ conflict resolution to achieve positive outcomes. Support simple Compliance Issue Visibility and Response (CIVR), grievance handling to appreciate/grow into HRBPs.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably with advanced degrees in Business, Psychology, Organisational Behaviour or related HR discipline.
Ideally 2-3+ years of experience in a similar HR functional role.
Ability to develop innovative and effective solutions/approaches for business efficiencies by leveraging tools and information.
Capable of partnering with other HR colleagues and across other stakeholders
Highly effective communicator at all levels of the business.
Strong ability to gather and use external market knowledge, understand data and make insights using HR systems and data analytics to support people strategies.
Demonstrate learning agility, is committed to personal self-development and has passion to learn and willing to share what they learn with others.
