Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a strategic HR Business Partner to the SYSS VP and functional leaders by providing HR guidance, counsel and decision making.
  • Responsible for leading. implementing, and executing the organization’s HR strategy, key projects and initiatives within AP.
  • Be responsible for effective succession/organization planning processes and help develop the SYSS AP executive management team and talent pipeline/bench strength.
  • Responsible for being a steward of the company culture, including ethics, integrity, and safety. Support and lead aspects of SYSS business and culture transformation efforts in AP
  • Leverages a deep understanding of business needs and participates in systematically solving business problems across the region through the talent lens.
  • Drives Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts for the business to strengthen company culture and talent development.
  • Manages the organization & talent review processes to ensure the development of high potential employees.
  • Be a change agent within the business and team. Use influential leadership to drive change across AP to improve organizational outcomes and support new strategy in software business.
  • Act as an organizational and simplification champion who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners with clients to maximize team performance.
  • Provides timely, effective and direct coaching and employee support to business leaders and employees, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary horizontal leadership skills.
  • Oversees all Employee Opinion Survey and communication activities across sites and ensures follow up and improvement actions.
  • Assures all AP sites adhere to local legal labor standards.
  • Provides HR metrics to global and world area Business Group management to track desired cadence for overall human resource management plans.
  • Participates as a strategic member of the SYSS AP Leadership Team , AP HR Leadership Team, and SYSS Global HR Leadership Team to contribute important HR initiatives and decisions.
  • Direct management of HR Manager and work closely with HR leaders and professionals of in-country Sales Organizations / Center of Excellence.
  • Responsible for leveraging best practices and creating a culture of collaboration.
Job Requirement:
  • Degree in Human Resources Management (or equivalent) with at least 12 years of relevant experience in a global MNC environment with passion in people management.
  • Post graduate qualification or MBA preferred.
  • Ability to manage & influence in a matrix environment. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment with good planning/priority and management competencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively with employees, peers and senior management. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and shape culture in a large company environment.
  • Flexible leadership and management style to navigate through the diverse requirements of the HR leadership role.
  • Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements.
