Job Description


Employee Relations

  • First point of contact for all retail Employees
  • Plan, Execute and work on all Employee matters within the allocated area of responsibilities
  • Support full HR Operations within the retail function excluding payroll
  • Communicate, educate and ensure smooth execution of HR SOPs and policies
  • Execute full entrance and exit for retail staff
  • Support Operations to handle store disciplinary issues inclusive but not limited to counselling, warning, performance management & observation etc.
  • Conduct weekly/ monthly store visits to build employee relations & ensure compliance
  • Listen to the voices of corporate/retail staff and update Management in terms of staff feedback and suggestion
  • Involve in employee engagement activities
  • In-charge of monthly best employee award and Shilla’s ambassador
  • Support Employees’ feedback program
Recruitment
  • Resourceful to get the right talent within the retail environment for both frontline
  • Evaluate, ascertain talent suitability and work on reference checks
  • Coordinate interviews for stake holders & interviewing managers
  • Onboard and exit administration
  • Able to think out of the box on recruiting
Compensation and Benefits – Administration
  • Prepare salary proposals for newly hired Retail Employees
  • Ensure all Employee relation are within Union’s guidelines and agreement (CA)
  • Medical administration – registration, deregistration, claims, processing and coordination with medical partners
  • HR Administration within the allocated area including HR letter writing
  • Administer Shilla’s Recommend A Friend Programme
  • Support in the yearly insurance renewal programme
  • Administer Performance Management, Annual Increment & Bonus Exercise
  • Maintain GHR with updated records, i.e. transfer, termination, changes of status
Other Administrative Duties
  • Ensure General Admin support on airport pass applications/ terminations inline with Employees’ Entrance & Exit
  • Work pass Application & Terminations with repatriation admin
  • Any other HR duties as assigned
Requirement
  • Minimum 2 -3 years of work experience in HR Generalist role
  • Minimum a Diploma in HRM or Administration
  • Proficient in Retail Human Resources and our Singapore Employment Act
  • Experienced working with Union supporting the collective agreement is a good PLUS
  • Process strong initiative, is dependable and must be team player
  • Able to multi tasks and has good organizational skills
  • Analytical and meticulous
  • Must come with strong communication skills and is a people person
  • Able to interact at all levels
