Opening in 2023, Artyzen Singapore will be the first new hotel added to Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s Orchard Road district in over a decade. What was once the sprawling home of the late Tan Hoon Siang (grandson of Singapore philanthropist Tan Tock Seng) is being transformed into a 20-story luxury property. The 142 rooms will sport a distinctive aesthetic, fusing reinterpreted facets of Peranakan art and style with contemporary design.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Selection: Develop and implement recruitment strategies and selection processes to attract and retain a highly skilled and diverse workforce, including identifying and cultivating relationships with potential candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts.
  • Training and Development: Develop and oversee training programs to ensure that employees are adequately trained in their roles and can provide exceptional customer service to guests, as well as supporting their ongoing professional development needs.
  • Employee Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees to promote a productive and harmonious work environment, and provide guidance and support on workplace conflicts and grievances.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes to monitor employee performance and provide feedback and support for improvement, including tracking KPIs and setting targets for improvement.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage compensation and benefit programs that are competitive, equitable, and consistent with the organization\'s goals and objectives, including developing incentive programs for exceptional performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and policies, and develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance, including developing and implementing health and safety policies for hotel employees and guests.
  • HR Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the HR department, including record-keeping, reporting, and communication, as well as managing HR-related software and technology platforms.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the HR department that align with the organization\'s goals and objectives, including succession planning and talent management strategies.
  • Support other departments: Work with other departments within the hotel, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure that all employees receive necessary training and support.
Requirements:
  • Professional Certification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and regulations in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on guest service.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop employees, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Knowledge of HR software systems, such as payroll and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and open communication.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience in change management and strategic planning is preferred.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic with a positive \xe2\x80\x98can-do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude
