Due to an internal transfer, we are searching for a talented Human Resources Manager for Madame Tussauds Singapore. This role will develop & drive the people strategy for the attraction and lead the day-to-day HR operations.

You will be the magic maker, with a goal to deliver a memorable employee experience to our team through best-in-class recruitment, talent development, engagement & inclusion, compensation & benefits, and office administration.

This role will report to the General Manager and will be based at our attraction, Madame Tussauds on Sentosa Island. Flexible work arrangements are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop & implement an annual HR plan to support the delivery of key business objectives including employee retention & engagement, revenue generation, profit delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Be the point of contact for day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance to current legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a memorable candidate experience.
  • Build talent development plans in consultation with the attraction leadership team & regional HR partners to drive career progression in the business.
  • Manage L&D programming for the attraction including, facilitating internal programmes, curate & share e-learning materials and managing partnerships with external vendors.
  • Partner with regional & global HR partners to apply the diversity & inclusion strategy across HR objectives focusing on employer branding, talent acquisition, talent development & engagement.
  • Provide consultation & guidance on performance reviews, improvement plans, disciplinaries and the appraisal process.
  • Manage the annual pay review process, in consultation with regional HR partners.
  • Manage the monthly payroll process and benefits administration and renewal process.
  • Oversee administration of all employee files and the HRIS.
  • Organise staff related events and activities.
  • General office administration support e.g., pantry and office supplies
WHO YOU ARE:

You will have a background in Human Resources, a leadership perspective and are willing to be hands on

Key skills & qualifications to support this role are:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or equivalent experience
  • Strong people & team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to partner with the business to support delivery of business performance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure delivery on deadlines
  • Adaptability in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of current employment legislation principles keeping knowledge up to date
