Your key responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze financial and macro data and predict their future paths and impact on (and of) macro policies.
• Build economic models, write reports and give presentations
• Provide insightful analysis of business cycle and structural shifts.
• Engage with external and internal clients during meetings (including overseas) in person and via (video) calls.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience working as macro analyst in financial markets and/or as an economist.
• In-depth knowledge of minimum two ASEAN markets - Indonesia, in particular.
• Deep understanding of economic theories and the macro data and policy impact on financial markets.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis/econometrics. (Econometric modelling is a must, while big data handling is a big plus.)
• Knowledge of database tools: CEIC, Haver, Reuters, Bloomberg, and other financial databases; various central bank and statistical websites.
• Ability to work well in a team

R ole is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
