Monday to Friday: 7:20 a.m. - 4:50 p.m. (1-hour lunch break)
Must be flexible to adjust schedule or work overtime as required by the school or company.
Additional assistance may be required on weekends during special school activities (prior notice will be given).
Scope of Services
The ICT Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting ICT training programs in alignment with the school's strategic goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Training & Curriculum Development
Prepare, implement, evaluate, and review ICT training materials and programmes for students.
Develop lesson materials and projects for the ALP curriculum in collaboration with teachers.
Conduct ICT lessons on:
Google Workspace tools (Google Classroom, Docs, Sites, Calendar, etc.)
iPad applications (e.g., Procreate, Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar, Reminders).
Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
Emerging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
Project Management & Support
Manage, survey, monitor, and evaluate ICT projects/assignments such as the National Digital Explorer (NDE), Code For Fun (CFF), and AI programmes.
Assist in executing the Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP), including training students and student champions on device usage and resolving technical issues.
Promote good data management habits among staff and students.
Technical & Administrative Support
Provide administrative support for the ICT department.
Support teachers and students with the use of Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other ICT tools.
Provide advice on software usage and ICT-related issues.
Assist in managing the school website.
Media & AV Support
Provide videography support during lessons and create videos for events, training, and sharing purposes.
Provide photography/videography coverage and AVA support for school events.
Train student leaders and assist in operating AVA equipment for AVA CCA activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
Diploma
in IT, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
Proven ability to deliver ICT training to secondary school students while maintaining classroom discipline.
Proficient in:
Google Workspace (Google Sites, Classroom, Docs, Calendar, etc.)
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
iPad applications (Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, etc.)
Emerging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
Basic photography and videography skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to train staff and students effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
